What is a community practitioner?
You might be a board member, a volunteer, a social enterprise founder or a not for profit manager. The common thread is that you work or volunteer with community at the forefront of your mind.
As a community practitioner you have more skills than you realise. Rather than telling you how to suck eggs our courses, programs and workshops are designed to help you to recognise and build on your strengths and share tools to make things easier.

Our programs are designed for Community Practitioners who...
Care about community
Your number 1 focus is on your community whether that is a small town, a suburb or a particular service user group. Your motivations are different when you are driven by caring and sometimes this means you aren't also looking after you. Our programs take this into account incorporating tools to build your strengths in all areas.
Juggle lots of balls
Argh! Where did all of these rules come from? Just when you thought you had it covered here comes another one. Running a small organisation or community group is just like running a small business. You need to be a jack of all trades. Why didn't anyone ever tell you there were so many balls to juggle?
We assist you to manage the helicopter view.

Seek financial stability
Financial stability in your organisation may not ONLY be about grants and funding. There are other ways to make - and save money. Our programs cover a range of ways to ensure financial sustainabilty.
Want more hours in the day
You finished that report at 'what' o'clock?
While we can't magic more hours on the clock, we can certainly assist you to save time allowing more time for you and for doing what you love.

A word from our founder
Thank you so much for dropping by. After two decades working, volunteering and consulting in the community sector I've learned a thing or two about the things that keep you awake at night.
I know how much you care about the people you serve (I do too) - and I know that when you're not thinking about better ways to make their lives better you are scrurrying about trying to keep up with all the things you need to do to keep your organisation moving forward.
I'm delighted to let you know there are easier ways.
I've made a lot of mistakes in the past two decades. And thankfully I've also had a lot of wins. I've put all of these things together into the toolkits and brought in a range of people I trust to share their areas of strength with you too.
I really look forward to hearing more about your great work as we learn and serve our communities together.
Heartfelt gratitude to you, Kerry Grace
